Incredible Invictus Trip

On Monday 30th November pupils in Years 5 and 6 were fortunate enough to visit the 'Invictus' exhibition in Gloucester.

Poems from a world-renowned Gloucester writer, William Henley and signed by South African legend Francois Pienaar are being displayed in the Gloucester City Museum. The poem was written in 1875 by Henley, a former Crypt School pupil, from his hospital bed while he battled against tuberculosis.

Here are some of the thoughts of the pupils that visited the exhibition:

Invictus Exhibition

On Monday the 30th December our schools year 5/6 went on a great trip to the folk museum and also went to see the invictus exhibition in the city museum. On the way we went to many places where famous people lived. We also learnt about them. The best bit of the trip was when we had free time to look around the city museum.
