School Uniform
At Highnam, all children wear school uniform. It is intended to be both smart and practical for children to wear. We often receive lovely comments from visitors and when on school trips, about our school uniform and how smart the children look.
The school uniform is as follows:
- White blouse/shirt
- Grey pinafore/skirt/trousers/shorts/skorts
- Grey cardigan/jumper
- School tie – available from the school office
- Summer dress – yellow/white check with short sleeve
- Sensible dark shoes

No jewellery is allowed other than small stud earrings.
On the days that children have PE, children wear their PE kit into school and this is as follows:
- Gym shoes/trainers
- Navy shorts
- White t-shirt
- Navy gym skirt/shorts
- Navy tracksuit/joggers for use in colder weather
- Navy or grey hoody for use in colder weather
Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked with the child’s name.
