Reading Champions visit Gloucester Library
This year we have a very proactive group of reading champions and they visited Gloucester library to look at how the library is set up and to spend time with the librarian. Whilst there the pupils were challenged to find a range of non-fiction books using the Dewey decimal system. After the visit they returned to Highnam with some ideas about developing our own reading areas in school.
Recently the team introduced a 'gripping read' suggestion box for books that we should be stocking in school and will be making a list of popular choices.
