Charity Colour Run23 October 2019 (by admin) |
On Friday 11th October Highnam Academy held a special charity colour run. The run was completed by staff, parents and pupils and raised over £1250 for 3 charities. The money was split between iReach Africa, Diabetes UK and supporting Worcester schoolboy Oscar Saxelby-Lee to get specialist leukaemia treatment in Singapore. It was a fantastic afternoon and thank you to all who collected sponsor money, took part or came along to support the runners. J-Beau Photography photographed the event - a big thank you to Mrs Bottomley. Finally, a massive thank you to Mrs Carpenter who organised the event ably supported by Mrs Honan in the school office. Finally, it was great to see a great FUNd raising event at Highnam Academy!
