Croatia Blog - Day 4
15 October 2019 (by admin)
We are now half way through our Croatian adventure. Today was another school based day. The staff had a number of workshops and meetings. Firstly, they headed to a 3D printing workshop, then Kahoot and Scratch. In the afternoon they presented all the work the school had been working on since the last mobility to Poland. Thank you to all the pupils and teachers for sharing their Computing projects.
The pupils also had a busy day in school. Firstly, they took part in a Scratch workshop and were praised for their technical skills by the teacher. After we met up for a few minutes on the school field for a sports event. We got to compete in mini competitions like the sack race, water transfer and even got to try out stilts!
At lunchtime we had the opportunity for a quick game of football England v Croatia - a repeat of the World Cup semi-final last year!
In the afternoon the pupils took part in a QR code hunt around the school. Later on they met together at the local sports centre together. It was early to bed for us all as we are getting up at 6am (5am UK time) for a full day trip (more to follow tomorrow)...goodnight!
