Highnam Church Of England Primary Academy

Last Thursday a team of girls headed off to Oxstalls to represent Gloucester in the GPSFA Girls’ County 7s competition. The team have had a very successful season so far remaining undefeated winning the super cup for Gloucester and so were in good form.

They were playing against: Bromley Heath, St James, Tewkesbury, Cirencester, Dursley and Bluecoat schools. At the end of the round robin event the team had won four matches and drawn two which meant they topped the table with 14 points and were crowned county champions!

Well done to the girls team, Mr Holmes their coach and all of their supporters. Next stop the South-West finals in March.
