Bronze Medal in Gloucestershire Finals23 May 2018 (by admin) |
News from Aston Gate, Bristol
Well done to our Year 3/4 team who represented the North of Gloucestershire in a special day of football at Aston Gate, the home of Bristol City. Mrs Trotman (a proud Bristol City supporter) and the team spent the day playing other teams from around the county.
In the first game the team narrowly lost 1-0 to Birdwell. Next up were St Michaels and the team secured a 1-1 draw. In their final two group games the team won both games 2-0. This meant the team progressed to the bronze medal match where they played Brentree. The team won 2-1 to secure 3rd place overall...a great achievement.
Excitingly, for the team (and Mrs Trotman) the team got to meet Bristol City manager Lee Johnson which was a highlight! A big thank you to the great parent support and well done to Oscar, Piers, Jay, Oliver, Harrison, Dylan, Gethin, Rory, Freddie and Ben for their achievement. Finally, thank you to Mrs Trotman for managing the team on the day.
