Update from Year 1

Pupils in Year 1 have been writing instructions in English with a tasty purpose! On Wednesday they followed their own instructions to make Queen Victoria's favourite cake. Mrs Witts and Mrs Evans worked with the small groups in the Hub to bake these tasty treats. The cakes were decorated on Thursday with a strawberry on the top and Mrs Evans' special homemade strawberry jam in the centre. The cakes were delicious and we enjoyed making them. The pupils' even had enough mixture to make every teacher one...they were very well received!
