News from the Dene Magna Competition

A selection of pupils from Years 5 and 6 travelled to Dene Magna school in the Forest of Dean to take part in the small school competition. Ten schools were taking part and the winner would go on to represent the Forest of Dean in the County festival. The team took part in a variety of track and field events in the sports hall ably supported by Young leaders and Hartpury students. At the end of the morning the scores were announced - Highnam finished in 2nd place...a great achievement. A big thank you to Miss Phillips for supporting the team and to all the pupils who took part.
