Pupils in Year 6 have been working hard this term to prepare for the opening of Highnam Quays our local small business initiative. Pupils have been awarded £20 per group to fund their business venture. One of the first things they had to do was to come up with business ideas, carry out market research and then bid for funding. More recently they have been contacting local business for sponsorship, preparing their advertising campaign and selling their products and services. This year the pupils have come up with a range of products including tasty fruit kebabs, wooden sign creations, popcorn, mobile phone covers, cookies, ice cones, bracelets a photo booth and much more.
