Highnam Church Of England Primary Academy

On Monday and Tuesday afternoon during the first week of the Easter holidays Highnam Academy hosted a Youth Hub Holiday Club for pupils in Years 4-6. The sessions were run by James from Psalms, Steve from Scripture Union, Dr Taylor, assisted by Mr Dean and Reverend Helen. The format was similar for both afternoons. The first sessions was led by James and was an outdoor games session in the MUGA pitch and on the school playground. This was followed by snack and question time with Steve H. The second session was woodcraft or cookery. There were some tasty treats made which included: Easter cakes, hot cross buns and cheese sticks. Thank you to all the pupils who attended - it was a great couple of days.
