Highnam Win large School's Swimming Gala

An update for the Newent Swimming Gala

On Monday afternoon over 20 pupils represented Highnam at the large schools swimming gala at Newent School. Mr Edgell and his team ran a superb afternoon with some top swimming talent on show. Congratulations to Martha and Nathan B who both broke records on the way to winning their respective races. The whole team performed very well with a number of 1st and 2nd place finishes, These results meant Highnam were crowned the winners of the competition with 595 points. Thank you to all parents who helped with lifts and supported the team. The Swimming Gala Area Final takes place on Tuesday 16th May
