Mrs Carpenter set the pupils a challenge before World Book Dat this year: to create your favourite book front cover in an arty and crafty way. This was also a House Competition so each entry received contributed to the house total. There were a wide variety of entries and a 1st, 2nd & 3rd was chosen for each class and an overall school winner.

Well done to Jessica in Year 1 who won a £10 book token for her creative entry. Thank you to all the pupils who entered the competition. 

The House Competition results were:

Oakridge & Lassington 1st place with 55 points

Wetherleigh in 3rd place with 41 points

Maidenhall in 4th place with 22 points
