Oakridge Win House Cross Country
Pupils across the school took part in the annual house cross country competition today. It is normally the first house competition of the year and it is fantastic to see the Reception pupils being part of their first house event.
Pupils in Reception run half a lap of the field and the course gets longer as you go up through the school. In the early winter sun the pupils cheered on the runners and enjoyed taking part and contributing to the house event.
At the end Miss Thomas announced the final standings:
4th Place - Wetherleigh
3rd Place - Maidenhall
2nd Place - Lassington
1st Place - Oakridge
Well done to all the pupils who took part in this exciting event and thank you to the sports crew for organising it.
