Elves Visit Highnam Academy

Yesterday the pupils in Reception were visited by Santa's little helpers. Two elves appeared in the outside classroom and left the class with important messages from Santa. The pupils watched in amazement as they unrolled a long list of names on a scroll and watched as their names were ticked off for being good children this year. 

The elves left each pupil with some reindeer dust to leave out on Christmas Eve and a note from Santa explaining about some presents that might appear on Christmas Day. 

     "It was wonderful to watch the faces of the Reception pupils when the elves first arrived, it was a magical time." commented Miss Cooney.
