District Rugby Semi Finalists
This year two teams from Highnam qualfied to take part in the district tag rugby finals held at Berry Hill Rugby Club. There were 16 teams that took part in four pools. The winner of each pool would automatically qualify for the county finals and proceed into the semi finals.
Highnam B had a tough draw and after their matches finished 3rd in their pool. Highnam A won all their pool matches and therefore qualified for the county finals. In the semi final they play national finalists from last year Bream School. After a close encounter the team lost 5-3.
Well done to both teams and we wish Highnam A all the best for the next round of the Tag 2 Twickenham Competition.
