Celebration Collective Worship

Today we had a wonderful celebration collective worship. A number of pupils contributed to the celebration. Miss Read's Year 5 dance group performed their group dance and the choir sang a song from the Highnam Carol Service. A number of pupils shared recent achievements including Molly and Darcey who both had medals from the Cheltenham gymnastic festival. Woody showed us his medal for taking part in a Christmas Charity fun run and Macauley shared his medals from a dance festival.

Next a large group of pupils had been carol singing in the village and raised £40 for the Cystic fibrosis Charity. A wonderful achievement.

Finall,y pupils reflected on the term and our Value for Life which has been courage. We also provided pupils with an opportunity to add prayers to our prayer tree. Pupils suggested that we prayed for Nelson Mandela's family and the country of South Africa at this time, along with the homeless people in our own city of Gloucester.
