Tri Golf Festival
Year 5 visited Hartpury College to take part in an exciting new tri-golf competition. Firstly, the pupils had a go on the driving range. Each bay of 3 to 4 pupils was teamed up with a Hartpury gold student to support them with their swing, stance and other golfing tips.
It was great to see the progress made during the first 45 minutes as pupils which couldn't hit the ball ended up hitting it about 50 metres. Following a quick collection of the golf balls out on the range we headed to the college buildings for lunch.
After lunch the tri-golf competition was held. All the pupils were divided into 6 groups and rotated round a variety of golf challenges. Once the competition was over the Hartpury students calculated the winners. Congratulations to Megan, Matthew, Tatiana, Fran and Taran - winners in Year 5 and will not represent the school in the next round.
