Highnam Church Of England Primary Academy

Pupils in Years 3-6 took part in our annual sports day last week. The weather was good and there was a super atmosphere as the runners took part to try and win the coveted trophy. The house captains and sports crew had set up the program and supported the younger runners. Well done to all the pupils who took part and it was lovely to see the friendly competition unfold. Our thanks to the Key Stage Two staff who helped to run the afternoon and to Mrs Honan for scoring the event. At the end of the sprints, relays, field and long distance events the scores were announced. Lassington topped the leaderboard with 112 points, Oakridge house was in second place with 106. Maidenhall was in 3rd place and Wetherleigh was 4th. Thank you to our great team of supporters and to those who helped during the afternoon.
