New Kitchen Room Taking Shape
The Key Stage 1 classrooms have been having a major refurbishment over the last few years. This has included brand new classrooms for Year 1 and Year 2, new bookcases and flooring in the shared area and updates to the old Year 2 classroom.
This classroom was once the school kitchen but now has been redeveloped to include the Key Stage 1 library and a lovely kitchen area. Supported by the PTA the new room will include new flooring, two cookers, two induction hobs, 3 sinks and plenty of workspace to enable up to 16 pupils to prepare and cook food.
Thank you to Mrs Hayes, who helped to organise the library, the PTA for helping to raise the necessary funds to create the room, Positive Plumbing and Mike Steele for installing the kitchen for us.
