Olympic Week - Day Four

Finally sun shone and we have all had a fantastic sport-filled day. We were visited by an olympic torch bearer during our Act of Worship and he talked about the reason he was nominated to carry the torch. Since finding out his wife has MS he has run several marathons and even cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise over £50,000 for multiple sclerosis. It was a truly inspiring talk and a privilege to meet Rob Powell.

The morning activities of volley ball and field events finally took place. Then it was Sports Day for the Infants while the Juniors headed to Lassington Woods for the challenging orienteering course.
