Year 5/6 Trip to the Science Museum
The third of the Primary QuEST trips with Redmarley and Staunton and Corse academies saw the pupils in Year 5/6 travel to London on a visit to the Science Museum. Following an early start the two coaches met at Membury Services and this is when the problems began...the Highnam bus had an electrical fault and was unable to be used so the Highnam pupils had to wait for a new bus to arrive from Ross-on-Wye. Eventually the pupils arrived at the Science Museum at 1pm. and had good time exploring before having to leave at 4pm.
After a tiring day the pupils, staff and parent helpers arrived back in Highnam just before 7:30pm. We'd like to thank all the staff and parent helpers for helping on the trip and for supporting the pupils during the long journeys. The trip didn't quite go as planned but the pupils did have a trip they'll never forget!
