Wear your Wellies Day
HIGHNAM C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL SUPPORT THE WEAR YOUR WELLIES CAMPAIGN
Today two classes joined the "Wear your Wellies for Wildlife" campaign to raise vital funds for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
Highnam Primary School has joined with other local schools and businesses to help this worthwhile local project. This term our topic has been all about ‘Creatures and their Habitats’ and the pupils wanted to help the animals they have been studying. The idea was simple; pupils were asked to pay £1 and wear their wellies for the day. We also organized a welly throwing competition, which was keenly contested by over 50 pupils.

Thank you to parents and pupils as the two classes raised £43 to help the
