Tag Festival Success at Newent

On 23rd April Highnam A and Highnam B Tag Rugby Teams entered the Newent Cluster Festival held at the Secondary School. There were over 8 teams present at the competition and the teams all played in the same league. Highnam B played extremely well winning 5 games and drawing 2. Highnam A lost one game (to Highnam B) and won all their other games.

Both teams ended on 19 points but because Highnam A had won more matches they were awarded the trophy. Excitingly, both teams have progressed to the district finals to be held at Berry Hill Rugby Club on Thursday.
