Quadkids 2014

Highnam finally made it to Dene Magna this week to take part in the Quadkids Finals. After a few Thursdays when rain was expected we finally had a dry sunny Thursday and the event took place in lovely sunshine. The team consisted of 5 boys and 5 girls. In the boys' team was Charlie, Owen, Rohan, Jacob B and Jack. In the girls' team was Evie W, Evie B, Darcey, Sienna and Felicity. 

Quadkids is made up of 4 athletic events: 50m sprint, 250 metres race, throwing a howler and the long jump.

At the end of the event Highnam was crowned overall Forest of Dean winners and go through to the County Final to be held at Cheltenham College after half term.
