Instructional Writing in Unit One

Mr Tibbles' English set have been busy learning how to write instructions. The climax to the work was writing a set of instructions which could direct pedestrians from the School to their own houses. Following this we tried one or two sets of instructions out by walking through the village.This provided a good opportunity to make English writing a real-life task by taking the classroom outdoors. After nearly getting lost we ended up in Poppy Field at the correct house. We might take a SatNav with us next time!
