District Cross Country Event

On Thursday 4th November, Highnam C of E Primary School took part in the district cross country race held at the Royal Forest of Dean College in Coleford. On a gusty afternoon a team of five pupils took part in two different races. There was a girls and boys year 5/6 race.

In the girls' year 5/6 race Liddy finished the race in 6th place and therefore qualified to represent the Forest of Dean district in the County Championship next year. Adam won the boys' race and therefore also qualified for the county team.

Tom finished 13th, Alex 22nd and Sam 32nd and all performed very well.
