County Cross Country Race

On Saturday 9th March two pupils from Highnam Academy represented the Forest of Dean district in the County Cross Country race in Cheltenham. This year it was the turn of St. Edward's School to host the annual event and over 200 boys and girls arrived to race in very muddy conditions. After warming up and watching the first race it was then the turn of Kelsey and Charlotte.  

The course was over a mile in length and had a number of steep and gradual climbs. The girls ran really well and Charlotte finished in 42nd place and Kelsey in 45th. Thank you to the parents for all their support.
